Eurohoops.net is proud to announce its new collaboration with Euroleague as the official global media partner of the competition. In less than four years of its digital life, Eurohoops emerged as the main source of quality reporting for European basketball, expanded in six different version and the best is yet to come. We would like to thank the Euroleague for acknowledging the high level of our work as the evolution of Eurohoops has taken its next step.
Here comes the official announcement of the Euroleague organization.
Euroleague Basketball is proud to announce that Eurohoops.net has been designated an “Official Global Media Partner” and invited to cooperate with Euroleague.net, the official website of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, to promote the competition to a pan-European and global audience.
Eurohoops.net, founded in 2012, publishes daily Euroleague-related content in six languages (English, Turkish, Spanish, German, Russian, Greek and more to come) to serve fans all across the globe.
As part of the agreement, Eurohoops will regularly be generating original content to be featured on Euroleague.net, becoming one of the very first external collaborators to feed content onto Euroleague’s official platform.
In its short existence, Eurohoops has quickly become a reference for all international basketball fans and media when looking for the latest information and insights on the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and the Eurocup. Eurohoops will also increase its coverage of the leagues by featuring official live data, exclusive interviews, basketball stars exclusive blogs, trademark articles and more.
The new collaboration also includes the participation of Eurohoops.net in different marketing activities of Euroleague Basketball, including the creation of content for the 2015-16 Turkish Airlines Euroleague global campaign “Usual Suspects”.
“We are excited to have Eurohoops as our first pan-European official media partner,” Alex-Gunnar Ferrer Kristjansson, Euroleague Basketball Brand and Communications Director, said. “It is important to have media outlets that extensively cover the leagues with a global vision. By cooperating closely on new content that Eurohoops gives to fans in many languages, we hope to expand the fever that both companies feel for these competitions to a wider audience.”
“We are very honored and proud to join forces with the Turkish Airlines Euroleague as their Global Media Partner,” Konstantinos Papaloukas, Eurohoops Managing Partner, said. “Even though we already speak six different languages, for us there is only “One Language, Basketball” and this partnership highlights this value even more. We want fans all over the world to be as excited as we are and to visit Eurohoops.net for Euroleague and European basketball coverage.”
