A thriller that will affect one of the biggest rivalries in Europe is taking place in Athens. Panathinaikos and Olympiacos are fighting for Kostas Papanikolaou.
The Greens made today their offer to the Greek forward with only a few hours deadline for his response. Olympiacos is in contact with the player for days, but the offer made by PAO was better than the money the Reds were ready to spend. It remains to be seen who will get him with the side note that in the end, Barcelona will have the right to match the offer he accepts in order to bring him back to Spain. And there are three more offers for him on the table but not from Top16 teams.
So even in the next minutes, we may know where Papanikolaou will end up after his NBA adventure!
