Joey Dorsey doesn’t exactly have the best of relationships with Galatasaray‘s coach, Ergin Ataman. The Turkish coach exposed him after the team’s victory against Anadolu Efes and let’s not forget Dorsey’s instagram post while he was sick at the hospital.
According to information of Eurohoops, Dorsey wants to leave Galatasaray and presses the club to release him. His goal is to be a free agent in the following days so that he will be able to join a Euroleague team before the beginning of the second round of the Top 16.
If that happens, the most likely destination will be Greece. Olympiacos and Panathinaikos look for a center with Dorsey’s characteristics and the options in the market are few. All good centers have contracts with their clubs, that ask for really big buy outs in order to release them. It’s a given that the two teams will sign a center before the second round of the Top 16 and that they are watching how the case of Dorsey with Galatasaray will evolve.
