Frank Roderick Elegar is the new target of Olympiacos. The Reds need a big man to fortify their paint and the player of TED Ankara Kolejliler is the chosen one.
The 30 years old Elegar (2.08 m.) has played in Germany (Bremerhaven), France (Vichy), Turkey (Bornova, Belediyesi), Estonia (Kalev), Italy (EA7 Emporio Armani Milano) and Greece (Marousi). His experience and also his season so far in Turkey prove that he will need no time to adapt in the needs of the Greek champs and that’s a big plus for him.
With just three days left in the Euroleague transfer deadline, Olympiacos is trying to lure the player in Piraeus. However, TED Ankara is knocking the door of the BSL playoffs and they denied the first offer of the Greeks for a buy out. Elegar who averages 8.3 ppg and 7.8 rpg is one of their key players.
Still, the talks have not broken yet and Olympiacos is expected to make a better offer soon. It remains to be seen if this time TED Ankara will agree.
