The game between Lokomotiv Kuban and Cedevita didn’t have any surprises. The hosts proved their might from the first minute and got the easy win with 87-63.
The first quarter ended with “Loko” having a 29-12 advantage and practically the game was over just after 10 minutes of action. Cedevita tried to stay close, but at half time the guests trailed by 11 points (44-33) and that was the best they could do for the rest of the game.
Anthony Randolph who finished the game with a double double (28 p., 9/10 2p., 13 r., 5 as.) and Ryan Broekhoff (14 p.) led the way to a 70-46 lead at the end of the third period. Malcolm Delaney showcased his passing abilities with 10 assists an the defense of coach Bartzokas’ team was once again excellent.
Miro Bilan with 11 points was the only player of Cedevita who scored in double digits, Lokomotiv was better in every part of the game and that’s why the guests decided to give minutes during the last period to their young players in order to gain some experience. After all that was the only thing Cedevita could get from this contest.
Lokomotiv has now a respectable 6-2 record and the 2nd place in its group, while Cedevita at 2-6 lost more crucial ground in the playoffs race.
