The German club officially announced the addition of Brandon Ashley. A 2.06 tall forward, Ashley arrived to Alba Berlin from the NBA D – League, where he played for the Texas Legends.
Known for his varied scoring abilities and his efficiency to threaten the basket equally well from all corners of the court, the 21 year old player signed a contract for 1+1 seasons with the German team. With the Texas Legends, Ashley averaged 14.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in the D-League during the current season.
Meanwhile, Alba Berlin also announced the decision to extend the contract of Rob Lowery for the remainder of the season. Not a surprise, since the American guard has been of big help to the team since his arrival, averaging 13.7 points and 5 rebounds in Eurocup, while also scoring 13.8 points, grabbing 6.5 rebounds and dishing 3 assists per game in the German Bundesliga.
