In his rookie season in the NBA, Nikola Jokic has been adapting spectacularly well, averaging 10 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2 assists per game for the Denver Nuggets.
But setting aside his great entrance in the best league in the world, nothing would be more satisfactory for the Serbian center than to play for his country’s national team. When asked by The Denver Post, his reaction was self explanatory. “Oh my gosh,” he said. “I would be really honored to play for my country.”
With players like Nikola Jokic, Boban Marjanovic and Miroslav Raduljica, Serbia could present one seriously enviable center trio this summer.
