According to AS, the city that will most likely organize the next Copa Del Rey is no other than Madrid.
The Spanish capital has already hosted the Cup tournament in its most recent format of eight teams, in 2006, 2009 and 2011. Other candidates in the race are Las Palmas (home of Gran Canaria) and Vitoria (where Laboral Kutxa plays) but Madrid appears as the strongest favorite.
Right now, the only thing that seems to remain for the official announcement is finding the dates in which Barclaycard Center will not be committed to host other events.
