The Latvian rookie’s impressive season made him reach a rather special accomplishment.

The New York Knicks were defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers 93 – 107 at home and Kristaps Porzingis had, again, one seriously solid performance, finishing the game with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Numbers that were good enough to create a unique record for the young Knick.

The Latvian power forward/center is now the first rookie in the history of the NBA to score more than 1000 points, grab more than 500 rebounds, block more than 100 shots and make more than 75 three-pointers in a single season! Since we are talking about a 7-footer, you can realize how impressive and special this accomplishment is.
