After recording the 500th regular season double-double in his NBA career, and helping the Chicago Bulls grab an important victory on the road against the Miami Heat Pau Gasol answered to some questions related to his future and his possible return to Spain for Barcelona.
“You tell me! I am as surprised as you are about it”, he said about the reported interest by the Catalan club. When asked if there is any offer to return to Spain, the Bulls‘ center answered “Where is that offer? Perhaps you have it in your hands!”, and then he explained that “I have not received any offers yet.”.
Talking about what where he will play in the upcoming season, Gasol said that he leaves every possible window open: ” I will consider all offers that might arrive and then make my decision. I’ve returned at the highest level in this season and I became an All-Star again. I may also want to take advantage of that, keep playing here and have interesting options in front of me. I think also in the USA”.
