Greek-American guard Tyler Dorsey will test the NBA draft waters, as he told ESPN, but won’t hire an agent, which means he can withdraw his name by May 25 and return to school.
“My family and I just thought that was the best decision to make going further, giving me the option to come back to Oregon as well,” Dorsey said.
Dorsey helped lead Oregon to a 31-7 record and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in his debut season with the Ducks. He had 23 points and nine rebounds in his team’s Pac-12 Championship game win over Utah. He is also a member of the Greek junior national team and he may even get a call for the training camp of the men’s team.
