Through the raving action of Brian Qvale, Oldenburg (24-6) celebrated the victory in derby of the Week of the German Championship vs the first team in the standings Brose Baskets (27-3).

Both teams were highly impressive offensively, but the hosts were almost unstoppable, gaining an important victory that keeps them in the second place of the standings. This result was not a serious setback for the team from Bamberg, which remains first and at a distance from those in pursuit.

A show of strength by second placed Bayern Munich (24-9) was made against Ludwigsburg (21-9), especially on the first half of a road game that could have been dangerous, but was turned into a cakewalk. Fraport Skyliners (24-8) and Alba Berlin (20-10) did not face any problems against Mitteldeutscher (7-23) and Crailsheim (5-25), respectively.
