Thanks to Kemba Walker’s great performance, the Charlotte Hornets edged the Miami Heat (89-85) and evened the series (2-2).
Although they played without Nicolas Batum for a second straight time, the Hornets saw Walker take over in the fourth quarter. The squad’s leader scored 11 points in a row and helped his team stand tall, when Miami had taken the lead in the fourth quarter.
Walker scored 34 points (a career-high in the playoffs), on 13 of 28 shooting, with Jeremy Lin adding 21 points (6/8 shooting, 8/9 from the free-throw line).
On the other hand, Joe Johnson had 16 points, on 4/5 from the three-point line, Luol Deng scored 15 points and Dwayne Wade made a double-double (12 points, 10 assists and seven boards), with Goran Dragic adding 12 points for the losing squad.
