Portland took advantage of Chris Paul’s and Blake Griffin’s absence, beat the Los Angeles Clippers 108-98 and now are one victory away from qualifying to the semi-finals (3-2).
For the Blazers, C. J. McCollum had 27 points (on 9 of 18 shooting), with Damian Lillard scoring 16 points in the fourth quarter to finish the game with 22, as Mason Plumlee (10 points, 15 rebounds) and Maurice Harkless (19 points, 10 boards) were also tremendous.
On the other hand, J.J Redick had 19 points for the losing squad, with Jamal Crawford and Jeff Green scoring 17 each, as DeAndre Jordan added 16 points and 17 rebounds.
Game 6 is set to take place in Portland on Friday.
