By sweeping their respective opponents 2-0, Anadolu Efes and Darussafaka Dogus advanced in the semifinals of the Turkish Basketball Super league. The two Istanbul teams will face each other there for a ticket to the Finals.

Anadolu Efes was the first team to qualify in the next stage of the playoffs, after beating Gaziantep 73 – 64 on the road. With Jayson Granger delivering points (19), rebounds (50 and general leadership, coach Caki’s team showed its superiority, while forcing Gaziantep to make 17 turnovers, and never find a good offensive rhythm.

In Bandirma, Darussafaka Dogus controlled most aspects of the match against Banvit, winning 86 – 73 thanks to a great display on both ends of court. Scott Wilbekin scored at will, finishing with 29 points, while Adrien Moerman’s new double-double (21 points, 11 rebounds) was not enough for the hosts.
