As reported by Lithuanian “24 SEK”, Jonas Maciulis has extended his contract with Real Madrid, for 2 plus 1 seasons . That means he will stay at least until the summer of 2018 in Madrid.
Although the agreement between the two sides had been sealed since February, it didn’t became known until recently. Maciulis has averaged 4.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in 18 minutes per game in the previous Euroleague season. In Liga Endesa he scores 5.7 points and grabs 2.7 rebounds per game.
He remains one of the key players of the team and his role in last season’s Euroleague winning run of Laso’s unit was more than important.
