From Thessaloniki, Greece, after the second “Antetokounbros” event which was proven to be a smash hit both Thanasis and Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke once more about their whish to play with the Greek national team in the pre-olympuc qualifying tournament in Turin, Italy.
Thanasis whose name appeared also in the pre-selection roster of Nigeria, which has already qualified in Rio, explained: “I called them and told them that I want to play for Greece. I grew up in Greece, I am feeling Greek and that’s my dream”.
Giannis also explained his situation, concerning the Bucks: “I want to play for the national team. The Bucks know it. We have not talked yet for this matter. Even if they are negative, I would try to convince them to let me play”.
The two brothers visited the museum of Aris BC, the dynasty of the 80s in Greek basketball.
