Augustine Rubit stole the show once again and led Ulm to the a fourth quarter burst and the win over Fraport! The hosts, after their break in Game 1 have a 2-0 advantage after prevailing with 83-72.
Rubit scored 33 points in just 25 minutes of action, making 7 out of 9 field goals (2/2 threes) and 17 out of 20 free throws. Add to the mix also 5 rebounds and 2 steals and you got the full picture. Chris Babb added 15 points and 6 assists for the winners, while Johannes Voigtmann led the scoring of the hosts with 12 points.
After this result Ulm, which finished 7th on the regular season standings, needs just one more win in the next three games in order to get the ticket to the finals.
