Jan Vesely was unstoppable with 24 points, Bobby Dixon added 16 and Fenerbahce controlled the game against Galatasaray on the way to a convincing 93-79 win.
Errick McCollum tried his best with 22 points, Chuck Davis added 17, however the debth of the hosts made all the difference. As expected, it was a tense start in the semifinals with Goksenin Koksal of Galatasaray and Pero Antic of Fenerbahce getting into a quarrel and after that Galatasaray’s coach Ergin Ataman getting a technical for protesting to the referees.
Fenerbahce finished the first quarter leading by 5 points (27-22), led by 17 at halftime (57-40) and Galatasaray couldn’t get back into the game in the second half.
