With an overtime victory 80 – 87, Strasbourg swept Le Mans and became the first team to check the ticket for the Pro A Finals. This is the fourth consecutive season in which the club will compete in the title series.
Mardy Collins shined by registering a strong double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds, apart from his 6 assists. Kyle Weems also had a big game with 20 points, the five of which in the beginning of the extra period.
These helped his team enter the extra period with an 0-7 run, which was a comfy safety pillow for them and too much of a margin for their hosts to cover.
Le Mans had Tywaine McKee as their top performer, who finished the match with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Now Strasbourg awaits to find its opponent in the Finals, between Monaco and Villeurbanne.
