Once again Efes‘ had the last word against Darussafaka Dogus only this time, this led them into the Finals of the Turkish Basketball Super League. Their 83 – 88 win provided the sweep and qualification to the title-series where they wait their opponent between one of Fenerbahce or Galatasaray.
The hosts were ahead in the score 83 – 82 with 87 seconds to go, but their opponents accomplished a 0-6 run that led them to victory. No other than the two protagonists of Efes throughout the whole game, Jayson Granger (17 points, 4 assists) and Derrick Brown (16 points, 8 rebounds) scored one basket each during that crucial moments.
For Darussafaka Dogus, that fell short near the end, Semih Erden scored 23 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.
