Tony Parker can still claim a championship title, but this time as an owner. His team, ASVEL, prevailed (80-59) over Monaco and with 3-1 wins qualified to the ProA semifinals, where Strasbourg is waiting.
Thanks to a 10-3 run at the end of the first half, ASVEL got a 44-33 advantage and never looked back. The hosts led by 16 at the third quarter (57-41) on the way to the win. Charles Kahudi (17 p.) and Casper Ware (19 p.) led the offense of coach J.D.Jackson’s team.
On the other side, Amara Sy with 11 points and just 5 minutes left on the game became the first player of Monaco who scored in dougle digits. Nothing clicked on offense for Monaco while ASVEL led even by 23 points (80-57).
