Real Madrid‘s Gustavo Ayon was disqualified just three minutes after the start of the game, Murcia closed the game the right way and got the 91-87 win and the 1-1 tie.

The score was tied at 77-77, but with three minutes left Carlos Cabezas made a big three (80-77) and led the charge on the way to a 11-4 run (88-81). Sergio Llull cut the lead to two with seconds left (88-86), Cabezas made 1-of-2 free throws, Jaycee Carroll answered 1-of-2 free throws (89-87) but Cabezas made his next two free throws to seal the win (91-87) and finished the game with 12 points.

Facundo Campazzo and Vitor Faverani scored 19 points each for the winners. Felipe Reyes with 21 points and 8 rebounds was the best of Real Madrid. Here’s what happened on the play that Ayon was disqualified.
