Olympiacos was given the Greek champion’s trophy today in “Peace and Friendship” arena, in front of thousands of the Reds’ fans.
Some impressive banners were in order to welcome the champs.
The ceremony began with children from the club’s academies who were presented to the crowd and received a warm applause.
Then the lights were shut to welcome the players and technical staff of Olympiacos.
One by one the players of the team entered the court in order to receive their medals

… and captain Vassilis Spanoulis lifted the trophy.
Giorgos Printezis could not hide his emotions. He lost his father the day before Game 1 of the Finals and the whole series took place during one of the most difficult periods of his life.
