With an almost perfect Viktor Khryapa leading his team in scoring (19 points) and rebounding, CSKA Moscow defeated Unics Kazan 90 – 77 making the 2-0 and getting on step far from the VTB League Title.
Once again the superiority of the Euroleague champions was evident throughout the whole game, but became abundantly clear in the last quarter, where coach Itoudis’ players established a steady and more than safe lead.
While Unics Kazan stayed close for 30 minutes, a 13 – 4 run of their opponents in the final period, more or less doomed their efforts. Keith Langford finished the match with 13 points and 5 rebounds.
