Anadolu Efes got the easy 91-70 win and tied the BSL finals series against Anadolu Efes at 1-1. Game 2 proved to be a triumph for the hosts, thanks to the trio of Jason Granger, Thomas Heurtel and Cedi Osman.
Granger and Heurtel scored 17 points each, Osman added 16 points. After a balanced first half which ended with Efes having just a one point lead (47-46), it was all about the hosts who build a 73-59 lead in the third period. There was no come back from Fenerbahce after this point.
Ekpe Udoh with a double double (14 p., 12 r.), Pero Antic with 14 points and Jan Vesely with 11 points and 7 rebounds did what they had to do, but the backcourt of Fenerbahce had an off night. Bobby Dixon with 10 points tried his best, but it was not enough.
However, the series now continues at Fenerbahce’s homecourt and after the break at Game 1, the team of coach Obradovic still has the advantage.
