With a letter sent to the board of the Turkish Basketball Federation, Hedo Turkoglu announced that he is resigning from the position of CEO.
According to the letter, Turkoglu’s busy schedule as chief advisor of president Recep Tayyip Erdogan doesn’t allow him to fulfill his duties as CEO of the Turkish Basketball Federation. He adds that with his role as consultant to the Turkish president he can work for all sports with extended responsibility.
Hedo Turkoglu concludes the letter by thanking his associates and everyone he has worked with, while wishing success to all representatives of the Turkish national team in summer tournaments.
