A show with only one protagonist. Such was Game 4 of the Turkish Finals, in which Fenerbahce made short work of Anadolu Efes, winning 101 – 79 to make the 3-1 in the series. Now Fener has three opportunities ahead for the championship title, while every game is a “do or die” situation for Efes.
Bobby Dixon (21 points) and Luigi Datome (21 points, 6 rebounds) fired at will, and Nikola Kalinic joined their party by adding 14 points of his own. As for Efes, with 19 points and 7 rebounds, Dario Saric was once more a top player for his team.
After a rough entrance, the hosts controlled every aspect of the game. By shooting the ball exceptionally well, particularly from behind the arc, where they had an impressive 14/23 (60.8%), and running their offensive plays almost effortlessly, coach Obradovic‘s players were dominant enough not only to win, but do it in a fashion.
Efes was simply unable to keep up with their opponents’ rhythm, especially in the second half, lacking defensive stability and effective solutions on the other end.
