With a second road victory (70-65) against Partizan Belgrade, Crvena Zvezda made the 3-1 in the Serbian League Finals, winning the championship for a second consecutive year!
Partizan made a strong entrance in the match, but Red Star played great basketball, outscoring his opponents in the second and third quarter, to keep a stead lead until the end of the match.
The triplette of Maik Zirbes (15 points, 7 rebounds), Marko Simonovic (15 points, 6 rebounds) and Tarence Kinsey (15 points) made some serious damage to the hosts. As for Partizan, Novica Velickovic’s 19 points and 6 rebounds were not enough.
