The best German team in recent years confirmed its indisputable superiority once again. Brose Baskets closed the season in a triumphant manner, beating Ratiopharm Ulm 92 – 63 and sweeping the series 3-0, to win the Bundesliga title.
Bradley Wanamaker and Darius Miller scored 19 points each to help their team dominate its opponent, especially in the second half, where Brose Baskets scored 54 points (!) against Ulm’s 28. The double-double of Raymar Morgan (19 points, 12 rebounds) could not help the guests hold back the offensive storm of the champions.
Apart from the illustrious trophy, Brose Baskets also earned another prize of great worth: A ticket to play in next season’s Euroleague. A well-deserved entry, considering also the fact that the team had proven that it belongs among the European basketball elite, by displaying some brilliant performances in the top continental competition throughout the season.
