“Captain Forever”. That’s how Olympiacos announced the two-year contract extension with Vassilis Spanoulis.
After more than three hours of discussions that took place last night in the offices of Arcadia, company of Olympiacos‘ owners Panagiotis and Giorgos Aggelopoulos, V-Span agreed to continue his career in the team for two more seasons.
The player’s agent, Misko Raznatovic arrived in Athens today in order finalize some last details of Spanoulis’ new contract with Olympiacos.
With the completion of his new contract, “Kill Bill” will have played eight years for the Reds.
Wearing the jersey of Olympiacos, Spanoulis has won the 2012 and 2013 Euroleague titles, the 2012, 2015 and 2016 Greek Basket League and the Greek Cup of 2011.
