It was a close and heated contest that included two NBA players getting disqualified, Serbia got the 79-77 win on the road against France in a preparation game played in Paris, in front of 12.000 fans.
Serbia will host one of the three pre-Olympic qualifying tournaments in Belgrade, while France will play in the tournament organized in Manila, Philippines.
The disqualification incident was the turning point in a close game in which Serbia prevailed with Stefan Markovic making a crucial three (77-72). Τhe Serbs got the lead at the start of the last quarter with a 18-6 run.

Bogdan Bogdanovic with 22 points was the top scorer of the winners, in what was the last game of Tony Parker with the French national team in Paris, since he is expected to retire for international play this summer.
