Jason Granger has a contract for one more season with Anadolu Efes, however he may leave Istanbul. Both the club and the player are open to the idea of parting ways, under certain conditions.
Despite the fact that there’s no buy out included in the guaranteeed contract – and that means Granger may very well play next season for Anadolu Efes – the player is already offered to many Euroleague teams. If there’s interest on him and the right offer for Granger arises, then Efes may just let him walk without any compensation for both sides.
This can be an interesting scenario for teams who are currently trying to fortify their backcourt and have open spots in their roster. Barcelona and Panathinaikos may consider this option, but the players is offered also to other clubs with Olympiacos also being one of them. At this point nothing seems to be imminent, but as time goes by and considering the fact that not many top players are in the markets, everything can happen.
