Joan Creus has confirmed in “Barca TV” channel that he is stepping down from the general manager position in Barcelona. As he said: “It’s time to stop. If you do not achieve your goals, you have to give room to others”.
With Sarunas Jasikevicius being ready to be announced as the new coach, it’s obvious that changes are coming and Creus explained why, even if he believes that the teams is moving in the right direction: “The purpose of a club like Barca is to win one of the three major titles, it’s an unwritten rule. What we require is to be among the best. You can be positive just because we have changed many players this season and needed a period of adaptation. I think we should change much for next season. No need to touch as many things as last summer. When a season is not working, we try to tweak things to succeed”.
