Cedi Osman spoke to the “Ihlas Press Agency” about the NBA future of himself and also his teammate both in the national team and Anadolu Efes, Furkan Korkmaz.
Osman was pretty clear on what he wants, after being drafted last year by the Cleveland Cavaliers and there’s a roadmap about him leaving Turkey: “I will go to the NBA after next season”. Anadolu Efes was the finalist this season in the Turkish BSL league and also won the President’s cup in Turkey.
For Furkan he added: “Playing in the NBA is his dream. We are so happy. We stayed up and followed the draft together and we were so excited. He was a little bit sad to be drafted in the 26th pick but we all talked with him and told him that there was nothing to be sorry about. He is like my brother”.
Giannis Antetokounmpo faced both players recently in the preparation games between Turkey and Greece and has only good things to say about Osman and Korkmaz.
