Darussafaka has agreed to terms with Banvit in order for Adrien Moerman to join the Euroleague team, according to Eurohoops sources, despite some the statements by Banvit’s president who insisted that he will keep the French player to his team’s roster.
After a great season with Banvit, after which he was named top scorer (17.6 ppg) and rebounder (10.1 rpg) of the Turkish league, the French forward was a high priority in many teams’ transfer lists.
However, Darussafaka was the fastest to reach the player and it looks like both sides will agree on a 2 year deal and a $250.000 buy out to Banvit. Moerman has previously played in Euroleague with the jersey of Orleanaise (2009/2010), Nancy (2011/2012) and Limoges (2014/2015).
