The Brooklyn Nets have agreed with Eurocup stand out center Justin Hamilton on a two-year, $6 million contract, his agency tweeted.
Hamilton, 26, has appeared in 49 career NBA games over parts of two seasons in Miami, Charlotte and Minnesota with averages of 5.0 points and 2.9 rebounds.
However his return to the States is the result of his great season in Eurocup and Liga Endesa with Valencia. Hamilton was rumored to be on the wish list of both Barcelona and Real Madrid, but he returned to the NBA.
Hamilton will play behind starter Brook Lopez.
He is Brooklyn’s second free-agent agreement of the day, joining point guard Jeremy Lin, who earlier agreed with the Nets on a three-year, $36 million deal.
