Nicolas Batum will be ready to play for the French national team in the pre-Olympic tournament at Manila, Philippines, at least in the crucial last two games of the tournament.
The French star after his new deal with Charlotte, as “L’Equipe” reports, is traveling from the US to the Philippines and his arrival is expected on Monday night local time. The news were confirmed by the technical director of the team Patrick Beesley and Batum, who was present in the training camp of the national team and then left for the US in order to have his meetings with the NBA teams, will help the team in its goal to get the spot to Rio.
This is going to be the last summer of Tony Parker in the French national team and of course his teammates and specially, Batum, his longtime companion in the “Bleus” will be ready to get him to the Olympics.
