After signing offensively gifted Nenad Krstic and Austin Daye, Galatasaray moves towards adding another piece with the aim of solidifying its frontcourt defense for the upcoming demanding season. The next player in the list of the “Cimbom” is American forward Will Thomas.
According to Eurohoops sources, not only is the 30-year old player currently under the radars of Galatasaray but he has also included the Eurocup champions among his options regarding the next station of his career. While his previous team, Unicaja Malaga wants to keep him in its roster, Thomas has turned down the contract extension offer made by the Andalusians.
However this doesn’t mean that he will give an answer to Galatasaray soon. Coming from a solid season in Euroleague (8.1 points plus 4.6 rebounds avg) Thomas has many offers in his hands and he is going to examine them thoroughly before making his final choice.
