The Portland Trail Blazers are going to offer a two-year, $40 million deal to Pau Gasol, as Marc Stein of ESPN reports. The 35-year old center and two-times NBA champion is one of the hottest names in the free agency, after deciding to opt-out of his contract with the Chicago Bulls.
Other teams that have shown a heavy interest to Gasol are the Minnesota Timberwolwes, the Toronto Raptors and the San Antonio Spurs, according to American media. It seems that we will soon find out which club is going to land the Spanish superstar.
Following up on that @ramonashelburne tweet: Lots of noise out there about Portland putting a two-year, $40 million offer down to Pau Gasol.
