A highly probable scenario of the NBA free agency is coming into life, as Pau Gasol will continue in the San Antonio Spurs! Perhaps the most ideal choice for the international Spaniard who moves to a squad that implements a style of basketball which can provide him the role he wanted in his new team.
It can be easily assumed that with Tim Duncan thinking about retiring, the Texans sped up their efforts to strike a deal with the 35-year old center. Then again, someone might easily say that Gasol in the Spurs was something long overdue, since they were searching for ways to sign him for many years while he was always pictured as a player who would glue perfectly in the team’s systems.
As Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical reports, the agreement between the two sides is of two years, $30 million plus.
