Serbia dominates, one step left for Rio

Serbia had an easy night against Czech Republic, got the 96-72 win over the Czech Republic and needs one more in the final of Belgrade’s pre-Olympic qualifying tournament against Puerto Rico in order to get the ticket to Rio.

Bogdan Bogdanovic with 21 points led the charge for the home team which led by nine points (26-17) at the end of the first period and never looked back in a stelar second half. Milos Teodosic also had a full stats line with 16 points, 6 assists, 3 steals and 4 turnovers and Nikola Jokic was more than impressive with 19 points and 8 rebounds.

Serbia finished the game with 27 assists, a number that proves the quality of basketball produced by the team of coach Alexander Djordjevic. Center Miroslav Raduljica had 12 points and also dished 6 assists, contributing to the show that the home crowd enjoyed.

Tomas Satoransky was the best of the losing side having 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists, numbers who made him top scorer, rebounder and passer of the Czechs.
