Kostas Antetokounmpo, the younger brother of Giannis and Thanasis, made his debut today with Greek national team in the game between his country and the Netherlands for the U20 European championship Division B that is taking place in Chalkida. Of course, his two older bros wouldn’t have missed it for anything.
Giannis and Thanasis went to Chalkida in order to watch the… younger “Greek Freak”, play in the game but alas, he didn’t stay on court for long. That is because Kostas hit his knee in a collision with an opponent, five minutes after he entered the match in the third period, and was forced to stay sidelined for the remainder of the game, mainly for precautionary reasons.
Greece defeated the Netherlands 68 – 36 with Vassilis Charalambopoulos scoring 16 points.
