Olympiacos is searching for a power forward in order to complete its roster for of the upcoming season and has already sent offers to its main targets: Kenny Gabriel and Demetris Nichols.
According to Eurohoops sources, each of the two players has received a proposal for a 1+1 contract with similar salary earnings (around $350.000) to that which Olympiacos had previously offered to Okaro White, the team’s primary option before the player signed for the Miami Heat.
As of now, neither of them has answered to Olympiacos, since there seems to be a good deal of distance between the demands of each player and the club when it comes to economical aspect of the deal. Also, Kenny Gabriel’s priority is the NBA and after his performances in the Summer League it’s quite possible that he will participate in the Cleveland Cavaliers preparation.
In any way, Olympiacos is not in a hurry, since this is the only transfer remaining in the team’s schedule ahead of next season.
