Dontaye Draper is back in Real Madrid, as the club announced today. The deal with the American player who has a Croatian passport was completed a long time ago, after the decision of Sergio Rodriguez to leave for the NBA.
The 31 years old guard played in Madrid from 2012 to 2014 and then spend two seasons in Anadolu Efes and in Lokomotiv Kuban. He had his break out seasons in Europe between 2010 and 2012 when he was a member of Cibona Zagreb.
With Draper onboard the roster of Real Madrid is complete for next season. Draper was past of the miracle season of Lokomotiv Kuban, he joins his teammate in Krasnodar, Anthony Randolph, and they will face their former coach Giorgos Bartzokas, who will be sitting on the bench of Barcelona.
