Anadolu Efes finally announced the acquisition of Tyler Honeycutt, after having finalized a deal earlier this week.
The 26-year-old American small forward arrives to the Turkish team from Khimki, where he spent the last 2 seasons.
Honeycutt was drafted in the second round with the 35th overall pick by the Sacramento Kings in the 2011 NBA Draft. He played for the Kings then in early January of 2012 he was assigned to the Reno Bighorns of the D-League, but was shortly recalled to Sacramento.
On February 20, 2013, the player was traded to the Houston Rockets and was assigned to another D-League team, Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
In summer 2013 he decided to go overseas and joined Israeli Ironi Nes Ziona and the following summer he signed a 2-year deal with Khimki.
