American forward Scotty Hopson is the new addition of Cedevita, per the club’s sport director Matej Mamic. He comes from Foshan Long Lions, of the Chinese CBA.
Hopson began his career in Greece playing for Kolossos Rhodes and then moved to Hapoel Eliat and Anadolu Efes with which he made his debut season in Euroleague, averaging 15.5 points and 4.2 rebounds in eleven games. His performances were impressive enough to attract the attention of the Cleveland Cavaliers, which Hopson joined on January 2014.
He has also played for Laboral Kutxa which he joined for the last stretch of the 2014/2015 season.
