This morning was one of the happiest in Tony Parker’s life. The French point guard of the San Antonio Spurs became a father once again after his wife, Axelle gave birth to young Liam.
A blissful Parker shared the news with his numerous Twitter followers. This is the couples’ second child, after Josh Parker who was born in 2014.
My son Liam and his mommy are doing well, so glad to be a daddy for the second time ???! #HappyFamily 2/2

In one week from now, the 34-year old captain of the French national team will parade together with his country’s athletes in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Maracana Stadium, Rio. Actually, Parker was one of the favorites to be the flag-bearer of France, but the honor ultimately went to celebrated judoka Teddy Riner.
Thus in this year’s Olympic Games, the only basketball player who will bear the flag of his country during the opening ceremony will be Luis Scola, of Argentina.
