Joey Dorsey can extend his stay in Barcelona, however Tel Aviv is also calling him. The American center is in advanced negotiations with both clubs.
Barcelona, despite the fact that has plans for the player, used the opt out clause and negotiates from scratch a new deal. Also the team needs to sign a small forward with Alex Abrines out of the picture and if the player signed is doesn’t have a European or Cotonou passport, then Dorsey is in danger of losing his spot in the roster.
Still the fact that Dorsey is a free agent, gave to Maccabi Tel Aviv the chance to enter the picture. The two sides are also in advance talks and the Israeli powerhouse is expected to present its final offer to the player soon. At the moment it’s hard to predict how things will play out, but in both cases, Dorsey will remain a member of the Euroleague next season.
