Adam Hanga is the player who will replace Alex Abrines in the roster of Barcelona. The Hungarian forward who had one more year left in his contract with Baskonia will be wearing “Blaugrana” next season.
Barcelona has negotiated quietly with Baskonia for some days and they are finalizing a deal for the buy out. Baskonia will get enough money and also one or two players from Barcelona Β football team will be send to Alaves, since Josean Querejeta is the owner of both Vitoria based clubs.
As for Hanga, he is expected to sign a new multiyear contract with Barcelona, which will probably include NBA out summer options, since the playes is drafted by the San Antonio Spurs.
However this is a transfer making history, since for the first time a basketball player will be sold and the buy out will not be only money but also football players!
